Drilling:

The purpose of drilling is to allow a student to repeat a stroke so often that a comfort level develops. The student will realize that when under the pressure of a tournament or college match he/she has hit this same shot a thousand times in practice. Therefore he/she will have the confidence to execute that shot. Now the next level after drilling is learning how to win!

Match & Point Play:

The student learns how to compete in a point situation while simultaneously learning how to construct point. As the student progresses and becomes more sophisticated in their learning abilities, they learn how to develop tactics and strategies. Eventually these skills become memorized so that when the student is in a tournament or college match he/she has played enough points situations to win, gain more confidence, and improve to higher levels of tennis.

Fitness:

A strong and physically tough opponent is a mentally strong opponent. We believe daily workouts that build the core muscles of students prevent injuries while building self esteem and confidence. Fitness is essential in long matches because the student will have the power and endurance to outlast their opponent. It will also allow them to play at a high level of performance in any situation without feeling fatigued.
